Four new deaths reported in region

• The Ohio Department of Health reported two new deaths in Hardin County on Tuesday: a man in his 70s who died on August 22 and a man in his 80s who died on August 13.

• One new death has been reported in Putnam County: a woman in her 80s who died on August 21.

• One new death has been reported in Van Wert County as well, a woman in her 70s who died on August 29.

• Today’s report includes new cases and recoveries from Sunday, Monday and Tuesday due to a printing error.

• Ohio reported 7,325 new coronavirus cases, 344 new hospitalizations and 111 new deaths Tuesday, exceeding the 21-day average on all measures.
