GILBOA — On Tuesday, the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome Koch Physical Therapy to Gilboa.
They have an office at 213 Main St., Gilboa, in a building they share with Hovest Chiropractic.
Dr. Jessica Koch was a patient of Dr. Kasey Hovest, and that relationship spurred her to go into practice with her.
“I knew what her plans were as far as wanting to make it kind of a women’s wellness center eventually, potential or at least kind of joining forces with another female in the area in order to provide better services for women in the area,” Koch said. “I know that being that she’s a mom, she also splits her time equally between work and business, and I have the same plan. So we work well in the same building together.”
Koch said she wants to “be able to provide a lot of services for people in the area, specifically for pediatric pelvic floor therapy, that’s a big thing that’s not really in our area as well as women’s pelvic floor therapy.”
She can also treat orthopedic diagnoses as well as dry needling, cupping and IASTM.
All of her scheduling with patients is done online at KochPT.com.
