May 25

Racheal Mattinson, Leipsic, was granted a divorce from Michael Muncy, Auburn, Wash. They were married Feb. 26, 2016, in Las Vegas, Nev., and have no children.

May 26

Stephanie Neer, 50, Middle Point, was found in contempt for not following the court’s order of March 11. She was ordered to pay attorney fees not to exceed $1,000 and court costs in the amount of $948.82. Sentencing was set for 8:30 a.m. Aug. 6, but she was given until Aug. 5, 2021, to purge the contempt.

May 28

Jamal A. Trammell, 27, 3465 Ruther Ave., Cincinnati, pleaded guilty to attempted improper handling a firearm in a motor vehicle. He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 11 a.m. July 22.

Justin N. Gutierrez, 29, 805 E. Second St., Ottawa, was sentenced to a minimum of three years to a maximum of four and a half years for burglary. He was given credit for 95 days served and any additional time while awaiting transport to prison. He must pay restitution of $3,720. A charge of theft was dismissed.

Jonathon J. Lawrence, 34,1062 Holgate Ave., Defiance, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs. He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9:30 a.m. June 24.

June 1

Debra J. Howell, Pandora, was granted a divorce from Gary Howell, Pandora. They were married March 5, 1977 in Mt. Cory and have no minor children.

Andrea R. Suter, Cairo, was granted a divorce from Mark A. Suter, Pandora. They were married June 17, 2006 in Lima and have two children.

Joy E. Howard, 33, 2933 Cletus Parkway, Lima, was sentenced to 180 days jail for violating probation. The judge suspended 177 days and gave her credit for three days served. She was fined $1,000 and that was suspended. She must complete all counseling and treatment recommended. She was originally convicted of attempted identity fraud and misuse of credit cards.

June 2

Melissa Arnett, Vaughnsville, was granted a divorce from Dustin Arnett, Lima. They have five children.

June 4

Kelvin J. Bish, 21, 504 N. Williams St., Apt. B., Paulding, was sentenced to 30 days jail for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. He was given credit for one day served and was registered as a Tier Two sex offender. He was placed on five years community control and must successfully complete all treatment and counseling recommended. Another count was dismissed.

Bish was accused of engaging in sexual conduct with a minor when he was 18 years of age at the time while at a residence in Continental from May 1, 2018 through Aug. 31, 2018. The victim is identified as John Doe, born in 2005.

June 1

Erin R. Chamberlin, 44, 4288 Road 9D, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to OVI, Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 169 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one year license suspension,

complete a drug and alcohol assessment, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP. A charge of failure to control was dismissed.

Courtney M. Buss, 24, 17936 Road I-17, Cloverdale, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, 27 days suspended, $250 fine, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP. Charges of turn signal and improper lane usage were dismissed.

June 3

John J. Markwell, 41, 1136 Catalpa Ave., Lima, pleaded guilty to driving under FRA non-compliance suspension. Sentence: $150 fine, suspended. A charge of expired plates was dismissed.
