Putnam County Common Pleas Court

May 13

David W. Daniels, 54, 1035 Heritage Trail, Ottawa, was sentenced to 17 months in prison for domestic violence. He was given credit for 156 days served. Two counts of felonious assault were dismissed.

Sebastion L. Hernandez, 25, 517 W. Main St., Leipsic, was sentenced to 15 months in prison for failure to appear. He was given credit for three days jail and any additional days while awaiting transport. He was also sentenced to 11 months in prison for aggravated trafficking in drugs. He was given credit for four days jail and any additional days while awaiting transport. The sentence was ordered to be served concurrently.

Aaron M. Almanza, 31, 631 W. Sycamore St., Apt. C11, Columbus Grove, was granted judicial release and referred to the WORTH Center. He must obtain and maintain employment and successfully complete all counseling and treatment recommended. He was originally convicted of aggravated trafficking in drugs.

May 10

Nicholas A. Felkey, 43, 12340 Road 12H, Ottawa, driving under FRA non-compliance. Sentence: $150 fine.

John J. Michel, 63, 5555 Rockport Road, Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to second offense OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 120 days suspended, $1,000 fine, $475 five-year license suspension, and complete an alcohol and drug assessment. Charges of open container and left of center were dismissed.

Octavio A. Quiroz, 63, 822 W. Bigelow Ave., Apt. D5, Findlay, pleaded no contest to OVI and was found guilty. Sentence: 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP. A charge of speeding was dismissed.

May 11

Adam D. Spafford, 46, 475 Arbor Lane, Huntington, Ind., pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP. A charge of marked lanes was dismissed.

Rosa K. Arrizola, 44, 812 E. Second St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of reckless operation. Sentence: $150 fine. A charge of tail/license plate light was dismissed.

Andrea Newell, 38, 4124 State Route 613, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of reckless operation. Sentence: $150 fine. Charge of left of center and distracted driving were dismissed.

David T. Carmack, 62, 2625 Reservoir Road, Apt. C, Lima, pleaded guilty to driving under OVI suspension. Sentence: 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $250 fine and license suspended for one year.

Randy J. Derrick, 36, 120 W. Broadway St., Leipsic, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of persistent disorderly conduct. Sentence: $150 fine.

May 12

Norfolk Southern Railroad, Fort Wayne, Ind., pleaded no contest to five counts obstructing roads by railroads and was found guilty. Sentence: $150 fine on each count.
