Two jailed on drug, weapons charges after Lima homes searched

LIMA — Two people were taken into custody Friday after suspected fentanyl, marijuana and weapons were found during searches at residences on Collett and Metcalf streets in Lima, the Allen County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday afternoon.

The West Central Ohio Crime Task Force, assisted by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team and Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team, served related search warrants at 619 N. Collett St. and 2219 N. Metcalf St. as part of an ongoing investigation of fentanyl pressed pills in the Allen County region.

Prior to the execution of the search warrants, Trayvon Thomas, 34, and Jakqueta Hollman, 40, were taken into custody on narcotics charges related to the investigation.

In addition to suspected narcotics, the SWAT teams recovered two handguns, one rifle, drug paraphernalia and approximately $2,000 in U.S. currency.

The investigation is ongoing with additional charges expected to be presented for consideration to a future session of the Allen County grand jury.
