Wapak troopers to patrol for distracted drivers

WAPAKONETA — Troopers from the Wapakoneta post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol have named a stretch of U.S. route 33, between state Route 66 and county Road 33A as a distracted driving corridor.

Through June 30, extra troopers will be patrolling that road in an attempt at reducing fatal and serious injury crashes caused by distracted driving and other crash-causing violations.
