Who’s eligible?

•All adults and teenagers age 16 years and older.

• The Ohio Department of Health updated its statistics for cases per 100,000 residents over the past two weeks. Statewide, the number went down from 185.8 last week to 155.6 this week. Locally, Auglaize County had the 29th highest rate in the state, at 144.6 per 100,000 population. Allen County had the 37th highest per-capita rate in the state, at 134.5. Other local counties included Hardin County (49th statewide, 121.2 per 100,000 population), Putnam County (51st, 109.3) and Van Wert (81st, 67.2).

• This region had the second-highest intensive care unit utilization in Ohio, with Region 1 at 17.2%. The statewide average was 10.7%.

• The state also updated its school reporting. In Allen County, Lima schools had five new student cases and one new staff case over the past week. Apollo Career Center and Perry schools each had two new student cases. Spencerville schools had one new staff case. In Auglaize County, St. Marys schools and Wapakoneta schools each had one new student case. In Putnam County, Ottawa-Glandorf schools had one new student case. Jennings schools and Kalida schools had one new staff case apiece.

• The Ohio Department of Health also updated its cases for long-term care facilities. In Allen County, Vancrest of Delphos had one new staff case in the past week. In Auglaize County, Wapakoneta Manor had four new resident cases and two new staff cases. In Putnam County, Meadows of Leipsic had one new staff case.
