Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9 a.m. May 27. The state agreed to remain silent as to sentencing and is asking for restitution of $3,720. A charge of theft was dismissed.
Sebastian L. Hernandez, 25, 235½ N. Walnut St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs. He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. He also pleaded guilty to failure to appear. He faces up to 18 months in prison and $5,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 11 a.m. May 13.
David W. Daniels, 54, 1035 Heritage Trail, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to domestic violence. He faces up to 18 months in prison and $5,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a presentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 10:30 a.m. May 13. Two counts of felonious assault were dismissed.
James C. Berger, 30, 31 South St., Leipsic, was referred to the WORTH Center for theft. He was placed on five years community control. He was ordered to obtain and maintain employment and complete all counseling and treatment recommended. Charges of breaking and entering and receiving stolen property were dismissed.
Jacob Ridinger, 40, 9752 State Route 65, Ottawa, was sentenced to 11 months in prison for domestic violence. He was given credit for 124 days served, and any additional time while awaiting transfer. He was put on three years post release control.
Donald J. Shartell, 55, 15330 Road 5N, Pandora, was sentenced to four days jail for assault. He was given credit for four days served and put on five years community control. He must obtain and maintain employment and successfully complete all counseling and treatment recommended. A charge of felonious assault was dismissed.
