‘Early Women of NASA’ is topic of Armstrong museum event

WAPAKONETA – The Armstrong Air & Space Museum will host a program honoring the early women of NASA.

Marcy Frumker, space advisor for the International Women’s Air & Space Museum, will discuss the contributions of the 13 women, eventually known as the “Mercury 13,” who underwent the same physiological tests and experiments as NASA’s early astronauts.

The program will be broadcast free of charge at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, via the Armstrong museum’s Facebook page.
