OTTAWA — Putnam County Habitat for Humanity has announced plans to build a new home in Columbus Grove this year. The board has signed an agreement to partner and build a new home on North Street for Amy Lusk and Henry Wainscott and their family.
Putnam County Habitat for Humanity since its inception in 2009 has built 11 new homes in Ottawa, Leipsic, Kalida, Continental and Columbus Grove. The agency also has completed redoing an entire house and done critical home repairs throughout the county for 32 families.
Homeowners purchase their homes through a low- or zero-interest mortgages provided by Putnam County Habitat for Humanity or through a USDA direct loan.
