LIMA — Lima’s 6th Ward Councilor is once again beginning his Rent-A-Kid program.
It’s a chance for the kids to learn some work experience and pocket some money for them for helping Lima’s senior citizens.
The program is in its 10th year. The kids could do anything chore including cutting grass, raking leaves and cleaning out your garage.
“That’s what I want to see, give them the work ethic so they have money in their pocket to go skating, bowling, so they don’t have to do nothing wrong to get money,” Glenn said.
Glenn is seeking donations for the program.
You can send the money to Community Action Program, Attention Dr. Derry Glenn, P.O. Box 5351, Lima, Ohio 45802.
