Cleveland man shot to death in vacant home


CLEVELAND (TNS) — A 29-year-old man died late Wednesday in a fatal shooting in a vacant home in the city’s Union-Miles neighborhood.

Antonio Harris of Cleveland died in the shooting, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner. No arrests have been made.

The shooting happened about 11:45 p.m. at the house on Crennell Avenue between East 131st and East 136th streets.

Harris and several others were inside the abandoned home when someone knocked on the front door. Harris answered the door and someone shot Harris in the head.

The shooting marks the 35th homicide in Cleveland in 2021. There were 24 homicides through April 1, 2020.
