March 4

Kirt C. Brinkman, 44, 325 Charloe Circle, Ottawa, was sentenced to 180 days jail for an amended charge of attempted possession of drugs. The judge suspended 179 days of the jail and fined him $1,000, which was suspended. He must successfully complete all counseling and treatment recommended by the probation officer and veteran services.

James A. Wagler, 62, 118 Delaware Ave., Findlay, was sentenced to 180 days jail for theft. The judge suspended 176 days of the jail and fined him $1,000, which was suspended. He must pay restitution of $1,595 to Liberty Lanes, Leipsic, and successfully complete all counseling and treatment recommended.

Andre M. Woods, 25, 11059 Road 16, Ottawa, was sentenced to 180 days jail for attempted tampering with evidence. He was given credit for one day served and was referred to the WORTH Center. He was placed on five years community control and must successfully complete all counseling and treatment recommended.

Wesley A. Endicott, 34, 21092 U.S. Route 224, Fort Jennings, was sentenced to 55 days for aggravated possession of drugs (methamphetamines). He was given credit for 55 days served. He must obtain and maintain employment and successfully complete all counseling and treatment recommended.

March 5

Jacob Ridinger, 40, 9752 State Route 65, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to domestic violence. He faces up to 18 months in prison and $5,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set 11 a.m. April 12.

James C. Berger, 30, 31 South St., Leipsic, pleaded guilty to theft. He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a presentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 10:30 a.m. April 12. Charges of breaking and entering and receiving stolen property were dismissed.

Donald J. Shartell, 55, 15330 Road 5N, Pandora, pleaded guilty to assault. He faces up to 18 months in prison and $5,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a presentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 10 a.m. April 12. A charge of felonious assault was dismissed.

Randi L. Drew, 28, 105 E. Elm St., Continental, was sentenced to 33 days in jail for violating community control. The violations included using marijuana and failing to complete drug testing as required. She was given credit for 11 days served and must obtain and maintain employment and complete all counseling and treatment recommended. She was originally convicted of possession of drugs (heroin).

Kristen Pitney, Columbus Grove, was granted a divorce from Brandon Goins, Marion. They were married Oct. 31, 2016 and have two children.

March 8

Christopher R. Barton, 34, 1614 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, Ind., pleaded guilty to grand theft of a motor vehicle. He faces up to 18 months in prison and $5,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a presentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 1:30 p.m. April 26.

Tony Lomeli, 49, 204 E. Broadway St., Leipsic, pleaded guilty to failure to comply with order/signal of an officer and attempt intimidation. He faces up to 36 months in prison and $10,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9 a.m. March 29. Charges of assault and resisting arrest were dismissed.

March 9

Mark A. Dodd, 39, 1122 S. Clinton St., Defiance, was sentenced to 15 months in prison for domestic violence. He was given credit for 164 days served an any additional days while awaiting transport. A charge of retaliation was dismissed.

Jennifer J. Gillette, 29, 102 Charloe Circle, Ottawa, was sentenced to one day in jail for aggravated possession of drugs. She was placed on five years community control. She must complete any counseling and treatment recommended.

Ashley M. Hazelton, Continental, was granted a divorce from Kenneth R. Hazelton, Continental. They were married Oct. 15, 2011 in Dupont and have three children.

Putnam County Treasurer Tracy Warnecke, Ottawa, was granted judgment against Kevin Moore Sr., Oakwood, and Christina Moore, Oakwood, for delinquent real estate taxes and assessments in the amount of $1,334.57.

March 10

Union Bank Company, Columbus Grove, was granted a foreclosure judgment against Jennifer L. Craig, Lima, in the amount of $73,284.42, plus interest in the amount of $3,410.30, plus interest and costs.

March 18

Roberto F. Garza, 21, 117 W. Sugar St., Leipsic, was sentenced to 60 days jail for gross sexual imposition. He was placed on five years community control and given credit for one day served. He was also placed on a Tier One sex offender and must successfully complete all counseling and treatment recommended. Two counts unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and another count gross sexual imposition were dismissed.

March 4

Tristan A. Niese, 24, 6707 Road 16, Continental, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: 180 days jail, 174 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspension, one year license suspension, with credit for six days jail upon completion of DIP and complete an alcohol and drug assessment. Two other OVI counts, open container and improper parking were dismissed.

Macala N. Custer, 20, 2166 N. Cole St., Lima, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 174 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one year license suspension, with credit for six days jail upon completion of DIP, and complete drug and alcohol assessment. Charges of OVI, marked lanes, failure to control, and underage possession were dismissed.

Trenton M. Meyer, 23, 242 Carlings Ave., Glandorf, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 174 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one year license suspension, with credit for six days jail upon completion of DIP, and complete drug and alcohol assessment. Charges of OVI, open container and failure to control were dismissed.

Benjamin P. Garrigus, 21, 2211 Neil Ave., Columbus, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspension, one year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP and complete an alcohol and drug assessment.

March 8

Norfolk Southern Railroad, Toledo, pleaded no contest to three counts obstructing railroad in violation of Continental ordinances. Sentence: $150 fine on all counts.

Sophia Chamberlin, 34, 9597, Road H, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to license forfeiture. Sentence: 30 days jail with credit for three days served. A charge of headlight required was dismissed.

Christian G. Moreno, 31, 112 S. Meadow Drive, McComb, charged with attempt, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.

March 9

Steve L. Parker, Jr, 19, 205 Corrine St., Easley, S.C., pleaded guilty to obstructing official business. Sentence: One day jail, $150 fine.

Keaton A. Donaldson, 18, 1416 Plainfield Drive, Lima, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP and complete a drug and alcohol assessment. Charges of OVI, turn signals and marked lanes were dismissed.

March 11

Mark J. Schierloh, 53, 12332 Road K, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspension, one year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP.

David M. Laudermilt Jr., 29, 1208 Rice Ave., Lima, pleaded guilty to criminal trespassing. Sentence: 30 days jail, 29 days suspended, $150 fine and no contact with victim or his property for two years.

Sandra M. Roa, 48, 111 W. Sugar St., Leipsic, pleaded guilty to domestic violence. Sentence: 180 days jail, 170 days suspended, $150 fine, complete drug and alcohol assessment and no contact with victim for one year.
