Huffman legislation on regulation reform passes

COLUMBUS — The passage of Senate Bill 9 is seen as an effort to reform needless regulations in Ohio.

“The goal is to reduce rules and regulations by 30% agency to agency,” said Matt Huffman, a Republican from Lima who is the Ohio Senate President. “This will simplify the cost of doing business by maintaining rules relatable to today’s industry standards and remove regulations that are no longer relevant.”

The bill now goes to the Ohio House of Representatives for consideration.
