LIMA — A virtual public meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 18 to discuss safety improvements planned for Main and Market streets. The meeting is held by city of Lima, Ohio Department of Transportation and the Lima-Allen County Regional Planning Commission.
The goal is to build a roundabout at Main and Market streets, planned to begin in spring 2022. The overall goals are to improve mobility, reduce crashes and improve pedestrian safety in the area of Market Street from West Street to Central Avenue and Main Street from just south of Town Square to Wayne Street.
A presentation will begin the meeting, followed by a period of questions and answers.
