LIMA — The average sale price for a home in the West Central Ohio region went up 25.3% in January, compared to the same period a year ago. However, the number of homes sold dropped by 16.3% according to the most recent Ohio Local MLS report.
The statistics also show the total dollar volume was up 4.9% compared to a year ago.
Across Ohio, the average sale price went up 14.8% and the number of units sold increased 8.8%.
The total dollar volume increased statewide by 24.9% compared to January of 2020.
