Putnam at Level 2, Allen and Auglaize drop to Level 1

LIMA — Roadways in the region are passable, as area counties downgraded their snow emergency levels.

Allen and Auglaize counties dropped to Level 1 warnings today, with Auglaize County switching at 11:30 a.m. and Allen County changing at 1 p.m.

Putnam County, which went to a Level 3 at midnight, backed it to a Level 2 at 1:37 p.m. Tuesday.

Hardin County is still on a Level 2 snow emergency, urging caution on snow-covered roadways with drifting possible.

Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey lifted all snow levels as of noon, after dropping to a Level 1 at 10 a.m.

Hancock County dropped to a Level 1 alert at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Allen County closed the following offices: Allen County Courthouse, Department of Job and Family Services, Allen County Children Support Enforcement Agency, Allen County Commissioner’s Office, Allen County Title Department and the Allen County Dog Warden. Allen County Probate and Juvenile Courts, 1000 Wardhill Ave., were also be closed.
