WAPAKONETA — Storyteller Sarah Showman will give a talk titled “L-O-V-E: Happy Valentine’s Day” at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15 at Facebook.com/AuglaizeCountyHistory.
Showman, who is with the Largely Literary Theater Company LLC, will speak on the joys, heartache and hard work that go into romantic relationships. She’ll share facts about the origins of Valentine’s Day and Auglaize County’s connection to the holiday.
The event is sponsored by the Auglaize County Historical Society.

The path of true love is hardly ever smooth and Showman offers up three stories about the “L” word that show the joys, heartache and hard work that go into any romantic relationship. Along the way, Showman weaves in facts about Valentine’s Day’s origin as well as our special Auglaize County connection to this holiday. Join us! The program is free and open to the public.

Sara Showman and Mark Dawidziak began The Largely Literary Theater Company, LLC, in 2002 to promote literature, literacy and live theater. They have performed all over Ohio and in Connecticut, Virginia, Indiana and New York state.
