Birdfeeders and Drawing TO-GO Art Bags
ArtSpace/Lima will be having their monthly TO-GO Art Bag on Saturday, February 13th, starting at noon in Cherry Alley. The activity will have a Valentine’s Day theme with birdfeeders made from heart-shaped cookie cutters. Each bag will have a pink cookie cutter, birdseed and gelatin, pencil, and instructions on how to prepare the birdfeeders. The Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District has included winter bird pictures to identify birds that may visit the finished feeder, and also an instruction paper to show how to draw birds. The TO-GO Art Bags are designed for people of all ages, and are always free to the public.
ArtSpace is encouraging people to stay in their cars and drive through Cherry Alley to the back door of ArtSpace. Bags will be handed out to individuals in their vehicles. Cherry Alley can be entered from High Street and exited onto Market Street. They will be available starting at 12:00 noon.
