Bluffton, Cloverdale get state assistance for infrastructure projects


COLUMBUS — The villages of Bluffton in Allen County and Cloverdale in Putnam County are among recipients of financing assistance from the Ohio Water Development Authority for projects to upgrade infrastructure in their respective communities.

Bluffton will receive $409,643.67 at 1.28% interest for 20 years for the construction of 1,700 feet of sanitary and 2,000 feet of storm sewers along Jefferson Street to replace aging sewers.

Cloverdale will receive a grant for $500,000 through OWDA’s Un-Sewered Area grant program for the construction of a sanitary collection system to provide service to 75 homes with failing onsite treatment systems. Treatment will be provided by the Village of Dupont.
