People in custody in Delphos armed robbery

DELPHOS — Several suspects have been taken into custody by Delphos police following an armed robbery Saturday afternoon.

According to a statement from the Delphos Police Department, at approximately 5 p.m. Saturday police were called to the 600 block of East Sixth Street in reference to the robbery. There were no injuries.

Criminal charges will be considered by the prosecutor’s office before any filing of formal charges against the individuals involved. Delphos Police Chief Mark Slate could not be reached for additional details Monday afternoon.

Assistance during the investigation was provided by the Lima Police Department, Ohio State Highway Patrol, American Township Police Department and Elida Police Department.
