Jan. 8

Sebastian L. Hernandez, 25, Leipsic, was sentenced to 11 months in prison for violating the terms of supervision. The violations include attempting to escape custody, resisting arrest, using illegal drugs, and failing to report to his supervising officer. He was given credit for 19 days served. He was originally convicted of possession of drugs.

Alexander Snavely, Leipsic, and Brianna Snavely, Hamilton, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Nov. 28, 2016 in Pandora and have one child.

Jan. 13

Stephanie Miehls, Continental, was granted a divorce from Michael Miehls, Columbus Grove. They were married Jan. 23, 2016, in Putnam County and have three children.

Kirt C. Brinkman, 44, 325 Charloe Circle, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of attempted aggravated possession of drugs. He faces up to six months in prison and $1,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 11 a.m. March 4. The state is recommending 30 days jail with work release.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

Jan. 11

John J. Newsome, 56, 404 S. Fifth St., Continental, pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct and was found guilty. Sentence: $50 fine and court costs.

Juan A. Reyes, Jr., 29, 522 S. Oak St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: Six points, 30 days jail, 27 days suspended, $250 fine, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP.
