‘New Book-New Look’ TO-GO Art Bags
ArtSpace/Lima and SAFY are partnering to begin the new year on a positive note with some positive tools. Setting goals is a common practice and being creative in the process makes the journey fun.
Saturday, January 16th, ArtSpace/Lima will be handing out positive journals at 12:00 noon in Cherry Alley, for the ‘NEW BOOK’ part. The new book will be a creative journal in a TO-GO art bag with a pen, writing prompts from Coleman Professional Services, colorful design papers, and samples of creative journaling. There will also be a map giving directions to SAFY for the ‘NEW LOOK’ part.
SAFY, located at 658 W. Market, will be distributing brown bag lunches for families, as well as hygiene packs for youth for self-care and wellness. Just pull up along the Market St. location, and SAFY staff will bring the items to your vehicle!
Creative journaling reduces stress, keeps memory sharp, boosts mood, and strengthens emotional functions. The hygiene products include lotion, loofa, wide-tooth comb, chapstick, hair care products, and more!
ArtSpace is encouraging people to stay in their cars and drive through Cherry Alley to the back door of ArtSpace. Bags will be handed out to individuals in their vehicles. Cherry Alley can be entered from High Street and exited onto Market Street. They will be available starting at 12:00 noon.
