LIMA — The Kiwanis Club of Lima will meet at noon Tuesday, Jan. 12 via Zoom.
Russ Thomas will discuss Connected Hope, his bus ministry to serve the homeless. Thomas also renovated a building and established a church, where he pastors and reaches out to help recovering addicts.

Guest speaker Russ Thomas will discuss Connected Hope, his bus ministry used to serve the homeless. He will share some events in his life that led to his passion for helping others. In addition to the bus ministry, Russ renovated a building and established a church, which he pastors and uses as an outreach to help recovering addicts.
The Kiwanis Club of Lima is part of Kiwanis International and Kiwanis Ohio District, an organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world “one child and one community at a time.” The local club is proud to sponsor service leadership clubs for students in every Lima City Schools building, for adults with disabilities at the Allen County Board of DD and college level students with a Circle K at Ohio State Lima. Members of Kiwanis are involved in numerous service projects in the community, the state and throughout the world.
