Dec. 18

Aaron M. Almanza, 31, 631 W. Sycamore St., Apt. C11, Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to aggravated trafficking in drugs. He faces up to 18 months in prison and $5,000 in fines. Bond was revoked while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 3:30 p.m. Jan. 21, 2021. The state agreed to dismiss an additional drug charge and is seeking $575 to the MAN unit.

Dec. 21

Jonathon S. Welker, 45, 725 N. Franklin St., Delphos, was granted credit for three days off his jail sentence for work performed at the Putnam County Adult Detention Facility. He had been convicted on a charge of aggravated assault.

Dec. 22

Melissa Herman, Angola, Ind., was granted a divorce from Patrick K. Herman, Ottoville. They were married Oct. 29, 1994 and have no minor children.

Dec. 23

Brian W. Siefker, Columbus Grove, was sworn in to a term on the Putnam County Veteran Service Commission to a term beginning Jan. 1, 2021 through Dec. 31, 2025.

Dec. 24

Peter Lotzer II, 35, London, was sentenced to 12 months in prison for attempted having weapons under disability. He was given credit for 190 days served and the sentence was ordered to be served consecutive to a sentence issued by the Allen County Common Pleas Court. Allen County court records show Lotzer received a three-year sentence for a possession of drug charge last July. Due to being under quarantined, the sentencing hearing had been rescheduled and conducted via video. Charges of tampering with evidence and unlawful possession of a dangerous ordnance were dismissed.

Dylan M. Palmer, 19, 501 Sugar St., Continental, was sentenced to 24 months in prison for failure to provide notice of change of address. He was given credit for 63 days served and any additional days pending transfer.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

Dec. 15

Lindsay M. Quintero, 30, 225 N. Orchard Drive, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to UM non-compliance. Sentence: $250 fine. She also pleaded no contest to UM non-compliance suspension and was found guilty. Sentence: $250 fine. She was also fined $50 for tail lights required and $50 for operating a vehicle without plates.

Dec. 18

Edmund D. Wilson, 40, 4764 Baccich St., New Orleans, La., pleaded guilty to an amended charge of disorderly conduct. Sentence: $150 fine.

Dec. 21

Cory R. Daisy, 32, Continental, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of disorderly conduct Sentence: $100 fine.

Michelle L. Van Der Veer, 45, 140 W. Williamstown Road, pleaded no contest to drug abuse/possession and was found guilty. Sentence: $150 fine.
