Early Sunday fire damages Lima home

LIMA — Lima firefighters extinguished a blaze just before 4 a.m. Sunday at 329 S. Harrison St.

When crews arrived, they found smoke and flames coming from the two-story rental home.

No one was hurt.

Two adults and six children were displaced by the fire and were helped by the American Red Cross.

The fire caused $13,000 in damages to the home and contents. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Lima Fire received assistance from the Shawnee Township Fire Department.
