LIMA — Allen County Public Health will be open to the public from noon to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday in December due to the increasing number of new coronavirus cases in the community.
Services will be limited during those hours, with immunizations available by appointment and family planning services available via telehealth so health department staff can dedicate more of their time to the COVID-19 response.
“Our public health priority right now is conducting COVID-19 disease investigation and contact tracing,” Allen County Public Health Commissioner Kathy Luhn said. “Because of continuingly increasing COVID-19 spread in the community we need to devote as many staff hours as possible to the COVID-19 response.”
Call 419-228-6154 to schedule a family planning appointment or 419-228-4457 to schedule an immunization appointment.
