Nov. 16

Dekwante D. Snodgrass, 24, 9250 Road O, Ottawa, was sentenced to 180 days jail for assault, a misdemeanor. The judge suspended 168 days of the jail sentence and he was given credit for two days served. He was fined $1,000 which was suspended pending successful completion of probation. He must successfully complete all treatment and counseling recommended.

Michael J. Prater, Columbus Grove, and Diane M. Prater, Columbus Grove, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married March 25, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nev., and have five children.

Nov. 12

Viktorea Baker, 19, 45 Vine St., Apt. B3, Leipsic, charged with spreading a false report of contamination, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.

Nov. 16

Isaiah M. Good, 19, 23490 Road H, Continental, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of underage consumption operation of vehicle. Sentence: 30 days jail, 27 days suspended, $250 fine and license suspension for one year and credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP.

Richard M. Freed, Jr., 21, 311 E. Cross St., Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to criminal trespass. Sentence: 30 days jail, suspended, $150 fine.

Derek E. Delarosa, 32, 1570 N. Perry St., Lot 29, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to endangering children. Sentence: 180 days jail, 90 days suspended, $100 fine and complete an assessment at Pathways Counseling Center. Another count was dismissed.

Dustin L. Branham, 30, 1703 Durango Drive, Defiance, pleaded guilty to OVI second offense. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 60 days suspended, $1,500 fine, $500 suspended, five-year license suspension, and complete drug and alcohol assessment. Charges of speeding and reckless operation were dismissed.

Antonio J. Martin, 19, 1168 E. Main St., Apt. D, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to driving under FRA non-compliance suspension. Sentence: $150 fine, 40 hours of community service. He was also fined $50 for improper pass to the left.

Nov. 17

Donald J. Shartell, charged with felonious assault, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.

Brandon L. Niles, 39, 531 Brower Road, Lima, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of complicity to theft. Sentence: 180 days jail, 90 days suspended, $150 fine.

Nicholas A. Felkey, 42, 12340 Road 12H, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to failure to comply. Sentence: 180 days jail, 90 days suspended, $250 fine, and complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center.

Jacob A. Karhoff, 24, 12353 Road R, Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to drug abuse/possession. Sentence: $150 fine and given a six-month license suspension.

Michael D. Frieszell, 39, 36 Northampton Ave., Dayton, pleaded guilty to drug abuse/possession. Sentence: $150 fine and six-month license suspension. He also pleaded guilty to drug paraphernalia and was ordered to pay court costs.

Nov. 19

Trevor D. Schroeder, 43, 9185 Nancy Lane, Findlay, pleaded guilty to an amended offense of second offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, 27 days suspended, $250 fine, with credit given for three days upon completion of DIP. A charge of turn signals was dismissed.

Aaron M. Lamb, 31, 504 Wayne St., Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: 180 days jail, 174 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, with credit for six days upon completion of DIP and must complete alcohol and drug assessment. A charge of failure to control was dismissed.

Donald G. Brinkman, 52, 148 Walnut Drive, Kalida, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, with credit for three days upon completion of DIP. A charge of failure to control was dismissed.
