LIMA — The Lima Salvation Army added one final day to sign up for Christmas assistance, from 9 a .m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1 at the Lima Salvation Army, 614 E. Market St., Lima.
The program offers food for all and toys for 12 and younger. Any applicants or calls after this date will be put on a waiting list for possible follow-up after the distribution if anything’s left.
Applicants must have Social Security cards for adults, birth certificates for youth, proof of address and proof of income with a list of expenses. Wear a mask, and only one person per household should come. You will receive a family number and a day and time to pick up things for Christmas.

THIS IS THE LAST CALL. All applicants/calls after this date will be put on a waiting list for possible follow up AFTER our distribution should there be anything left. All other applications will be done as time allows and space is available. If you are quarantined or otherwise unable to apply this day/time you can send someone with your paperwork and a note to apply on your behalf. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
