Road construction and maintenance projects

ALLEN COUNTY

Interstate 75 between the Auglaize County line and the Hancock County line will have temporary lane restrictions for bridge maintenance.

Interstate 75 between Napoleon Road and state Route 235, just south of the village of Beaverdam to three miles north of the village of Bluffton, in Allen and Hancock counties, will experience lane restrictions and ramp closures for paving and reconstruction through November 2020. There are no scheduled lane restrictions and work is occurring in the median.

Daytime lane restrictions in both directions are expected during the week of December 7 to remove the barrier wall and shift traffic.

U.S. 30 PROJECTS

U.S. 30 between Slabtown Road overhead and Mayberry Road, two miles west of Beaverdam may have traffic control operations in effect beginning November 15 through mid-December for transmission line replacement by American Electric Power.

State Route 65/Elm Street and Pine Street at their intersection in the city of Lima closed June 1 for replacement of the bridges over the Ottawa River. Completion is expected in late fall. Visit the project page for more information.

AUGLAIZE COUNTY

State Route 198 Water/Sewer Construction – Expect S.R. 198 in Wapakoneta to close between S.R. 67 and U.S. 33 on Tuesday, September 8 through Tuesday, December 1 from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. This is a city of Wapakoneta project. The detour will be posted in the work zone.

HANCOCK COUNTY

Interstate 75 Widening and Reconstruction in the city of Findlay: The project to reconstruct and widen I-75 through the city of Findlay beginning just south of Harrison Street/County Road 144, which is just south of the U.S. Route 68/State Route 15 interchange, to the County Road 99 interchange, is in its fourth and final year. Estimated completion: Fall 2020

Temporary lane closures may occur for finish work.

State Route 568 closure between County Road 7 and Township Road 245, two miles east of Findlay, will close Aug. 10 for approximately 120 days for a bridge replacement project.

If circumstances permit, reopening is anticipated to occur as soon as Tuesday, Nov. 24.

Detour: SR 37 to SR 15 to SR 330 back to SR 568.

HARDIN COUNTY

U.S. 68 between the city of Kenton and the Logan County line will be restricted to one lane for crack sealing operations.

Lincoln Street/township Road 44 within the village of Ada, between Klingler Road and Union Street, closed for approximately 160 days on Apr. 20 for roadway reconstruction including storm sewer, water main, curb and gutter, and sidewalk. Lincoln Street is open to traffic.

Short-term lane closures for finish work.

PUTNAM COUNTY

State Route 65 in the village of Leipsic, between T-6 and C-5 closed November 9 for railroad repair. Equipment failure resulted in reopening the crossing on November 11. The work is expected resume and close the route on November 16 for five days to complete the project.

Detour: SR 613 to SR 109 to SR 18 back to SR 65.

VAN WERT COUNTY

Van Wert County has no planned work anticipated to impact to traffic.
