Nov. 6

Crystal R. Warner, 31, 1910 Zeits Ave., Lima, admitted to violating standards of community control. The violations included failing to contact her probation officer, failing to contact Pathways Counseling to setup treatment and using illegal drugs including Fentanyl. She is to be sentenced at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 23. She had been convicted of forgery.

Nov. 9

Matthew A. Venhaus, Continental, and Miranda Venhaus, Continental, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married July 6, 2019 in Putnam County and have no children.

Crystal L. Albert, Ottawa, and Derrick W. Albert, Kenton, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Nov. 7, 2008 in Colorado and have two children.

Joseph A. Boecker, Continental, was granted a divorce from Angela K. Boecker, Ottawa. They were married March 11, 2016 in Ottawa and have one child.

Nov. 12

A three-day jury trial was scheduled for Travis Soto, 34, 226½ E. Clinton St., Napoleon, charged with aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, kidnapping and tampering with evidence. The trial was scheduled for March 29, 2021 through March 31, 2021 with a final pre-trial set for 1 p.m. March 8, 2021. Soto, who spent five years in prison for child endangering, told police in 2006 he had accidentally killed his young son, Julio in an all-terrain vehicle accident. In 2016, Soto walked into the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and confessed he had actually beaten his son to death and had staged the ATV accident.

Brooke E. Peck, 26, 7345 Road 7D, Leipsic, was given credit for three days off her jail sentence for work performed at the Putnam County Adult Detention facility. She was released Nov. 18. She had been convicted of aggravated possession of drugs (methamphetamines).

Nov. 9

Joshua W. Bowers, 34, 500 Main St., Apt. 2, Columbus Grove, charged with felonious assault, a felony, bound over to common pleas court. Bond remains set at $100,000 cash or surety and he must not be present at the residence and remain at least 1,000 feet from the alleged victim.

Nov. 12

Crystal Zuniga, 21, 130 S. First St., Hamler, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of physical control. Sentence: 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $375 fine, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP. A charge of failure to control was dismissed.

Nov. 16

Billie R. Wilson, 42, 145 S. Main St., Hamler, pleaded guilty to criminal trespass. Sentence: 30 days jail, 20 days suspended, $100 fine.
