ODJFS warns of email scam targeting PUA recipients

COLUMBUS — The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services on Wednesday warned past and current Pandemic Unemployment Assistance claimants of a possible scam offering non-existent stimulus payments to PUA recipients. The potentially fraudulent emails contain ODJFS logos but did not originate from the agency, ODJFS said last week.

Anyone who received this notification should report it to the Ohio Attorney General’s office at 1-800-282-0515 or ohioprotects.org.
