Staff reports

LIMA — The Allen County Museum, in collaboration with Church Women United and Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District, invites community members to submit their favorite image of a Christmas tree as part of an online exhibit to commemorate this year’s event.

Due to the cancellation of the regular festival resulting from limitations relating to COVID-19, the committee has shifted the event to an online format. This adapted event is for people of all ages who want to keep the tradition of the 48th Annual Christmas Tree Festival alive.

The committee encourages individuals and groups to send photos. Photos can be of your favorite festival tree from years past or your own personal tree.

To participate, email your photo to or by Nov. 16. All photos must be jpegs. Please be sure to list the name of your family, group, organization or business that is entering the photo and put CTF in the subject line of the email. Only 125 entries will be accepted.
