The group is free and open to anyone who has experienced a recent loss. Meetings are informal with a trained facilitator.
CHP Bereavement Support Groups
Community Health Professionals (CHP)Home Care & Hospice offers monthly bereavement support groups inAda and Delphos. The groups called Hope for Tomorrow meet the first Saturday each month at 10 a.m. in the conference room at CHP HomeCare & Hospice, 1200 S. Main St., Ada, and the third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at CHP Home Care & Hospice, 1500 E. Fifth St., Delphos. The groups are free and open to anyone who has experienced a recent loss, regardless of receiving services previously through CHP. Meetings are informal with a trained facilitator; open to men and women, with the goal of promoting healing, emotional support, and encouragement.
“Each of us mourns death differently,” said Hayley Neubert, MSW, hospice social worker. “Some people cope with their grief by themselves and do not want or need outside assistance, while others find comfort in sharing the pain, anger, depression, and other emotions they feel following a loss. The goal of our group is to provide a safe place to share with others who understand.”
