Deaf child from Kenton reported missing


KENTON — The Kenton Police Department and the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office reported at 2 p.m. Thursday they are searching for a non-verbal, deaf 4-year-old child missing from the South Wayne Street area in Kenton.

The child was last seen wearing a red Mickey Mouse shirt, black sweatpants and no shoes.

Anyone seeing this child is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.

Officials called off the search for the night at dusk and announced the search would continue Friday.
