Registration begins for My Brother’s Keeper program in Lima


LIMA — October registration is now open for My Brother’s Keeper Ohio begins soon at Bradfield Community Center, 550 S. Collett St., Lima, 419-228-7766.

The program inspires positive racial identity in Black boys. The first 30 boys signed up will be accepted with no wait. The program focuses on staying safe and cultural-based support for grades four through eight.

The program for pre-registered students begins 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26.

Register from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, 5:30 to 7 p.m.; 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22; and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24.
