Teen hurt in Sunday morning shooting in Lima

LIMA —Lima police are investigating a shooting from early Sunday.

According to a news release, just before 2 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to the 500 block of West Elm Street in Lima on the report of shots fired.

Once officers got there they were told that a 17-year-old female had been shot and was being dropped off at a local hospital.

She suffered a non-life threatening wound to her left arm.
