All information collected at the forum will be used to create the 2021 - 2023 Strategic Plan.
Some questions that will be discussed:
How can we help people with developmental disabilities achieve their goals?
What do families feel they need more or less of from Allen County Board of DD?
Does our community understand the services provided by Allen County Board of DD, and do they feel informed about key developmental disability topics?
What does the community want to see more of from Allen County Board of DD?
Additionally, we will ask the community to provide input on the use of federal funds for Special Education IDEA Part B. Part B funds are used to assist with the education of children with developmental disabilities, ages 5 through 21.
This event is open to all. It will be outdoors in the maintenance garage, as weather permits; otherwise, it will take place in the gymnasium at Marimor School, following all social distance guidelines. Refreshments will be provided.
