ALLEN COUNTY

Interstate 75 between Napoleon Road and state Route 235, just south of the village of Beaverdam to three miles north of the village of Bluffton, in Allen and Hancock counties, will experience lane restrictions and ramp closures for paving and reconstruction through November 2020. Beginning October 12, traffic at SR 696, Beaverdam, will be shifted back to the proper side of the highway, the northbound lane will return to the northbound side. Work to shift traffic will begin at approximately 7 p.m. on Monday and be complete by noon on Tuesday.

Nighttime lane restrictions, 7 p.m. – 7 a.m.

State Route 65/Elm Street and Pine Street at their intersection in the city of Lima closed June 1 for replacement of the bridges over the Ottawa River. Completion is expected in late fall. Visit the project page for more information.

The bridges at Elm Street and Pine Street are closed at the intersection of Elm Street and Pine Street.

Eastbound detour: Central Avenue to Market Street to Bellefontaine Avenue (SR 309/SR 117).

Westbound detour: Bellefontaine Avenue (SR 309/ SR 117) to Market Street to S. Union Street.

Full closure of the intersection and bike tunnel is expected to begin September 28 for approximately three weeks.

Market Street railroad crossing is expected to close October 5 – 16 impacting the detour route.

Traffic will be directed to the North Street underpass.

State Route 115 (N. West Street) between State Route 65 and N. Cole Street will close October 13 for four days for a culvert replacement.

Detour: SR 65 to U.S. 30 back to SR 115.

AUGLAIZE COUNTY

State Route 274 Signal Installation – Expect lane width restrictions on S.R. 274, in each direction, between S.R. 364 and S.R. 29, on Monday, October 5 at midnight through Monday, October 19 at 11:45 p.m. The Contractor will be installing new signals at the intersection of S.R. 274 and S.R. 66.

State Route 198 Water/Sewer Construction – Expect S.R. 198 in Wapakoneta to close between S.R. 67 and U.S. 33 on Tuesday, September 8 through Tuesday, December 1 from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. This is a City of Wapakoneta project. The detour will be posted in the work zone.

State Route 65 Resurfacing – Expect lane restrictions in each direction on S.R. 65 between U.S. 33 and S.R. 67 on Monday, September 28 through Friday, October 30 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. There will be one 12’ lane, plus 3’ shoulder maintained for a total available width of 15’. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.

U.S. 33 Resurfacing – Expect lane restrictions in each direction on U.S. 33 between Cemetery Road and S.R. 65 South on Monday, September 28 through Friday, October 30 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. One of two lanes will be maintained with flaggers.

HANCOCK COUNTY

Interstate 75 Widening and Reconstruction in the city of Findlay: The project to reconstruct and widen I-75 through the city of Findlay beginning just south of Harrison Street/County Road 144, which is just south of the U.S. Route 68/State Route 15 interchange, to the County Road 99 interchange, is in its fourth and final year. Estimated completion: Fall 2020

All ramps are open, and the final traffic pattern is in place.

Construction will continue until late fall with lane restrictions and temporary ramp closures.

Interstate 75 southbound near the Bigelow Road overhead, in the city of Findlay, will have lengthy delays on a noise wall extension project and is temporarily shut down. The project is expected to be completed in 2021.

U.S. 68 over State Route 15 and State Route 15 under U.S. 68, south of the city of Findlay, will have lane restrictions for finish work on the U.S. 68 bridge deck replacement project. Visit the project page for more information.

U.S. 68 within the village of Arlington is open following a four-month closure for roadway reconstruction. Lane restrictions are expected to continue for finish work.

Various routes in the village of Arlington will have lane restrictions for local road repairs.

U.S. 224 resurfacing project between the village of Ottawa and State Route 235 will have lane restrictions from the Putnam County line to State Route 235 for finish work.

State Route 568 closure between County Road 7 and Township Road 245, two miles east of Findlay, will close Aug. 10 for approximately 120 days for a bridge replacement project.

Detour: SR 37 to SR 15 to SR 330 back to SR 568.

HARDIN COUNTY

State Route 37 between Gage Street and County Road 2, on north side of the village of Forest, will close October 14 for two days for drainage work.

Detour: S. 30 to SR 68 to SR 81 to SR 53 back to SR 37.

State Route 53 between the city of Kenton and the village of Forest will have lane restrictions for pavement repairs.

Lincoln Street/township Road 44 within the village of Ada, between Klingler Road and Union Street, closed for approximately 160 days on Apr. 20 for roadway reconstruction including storm sewer, water main, curb and gutter, and sidewalk.

Southern Detour: Main Street/SR 235 to Lima Avenue/TR 50 to Klinger Road/County Road 35.

Northern Detour: Main Street/SR 235 to W. North Avenue/SR 81 to Klinger Road/County Road 35.

Access to Ada Medical and Diagnostic Center will be maintained at all times.

PUTNAM COUNTY

U.S. 224 resurfacing project between the village of Ottawa and State Route 235 will have lane restrictions from the Putnam County line to State Route 235 for finish work.

State Route 108 between SR 613 and Township Road G, approximately one mile south of the village of Miller City, will close on Aug. 3 for approximately 75 days for bridge deck and slope repair over the Miller City cutoff.

Detour: SR 613 to SR 109 to SR 18 back to SR 108.

State Route 115 between the village of Kalida and State Route 15 will have lane restrictions for pavement repairs.

State Route 634 between State Route 114 and State Route 613 will have lane restrictions for pavement repairs.

State Route 694 between State Route 114 and State Route the village of Glandorf will have lane restrictions for pavement repairs.

SHELBY COUNTY

Interstate 75 Resurfacing – Expect nightly lane restrictions on I-75 between S.R. 274 and U.S. 33, in each direction, on Sunday, June 28 through Thursday, October 15, from 8:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Traffic will be maintained on I-75.

Interstate 75 Pavement Repair- Expect the State Route 47 on-ramp (Exit 92) onto I-75 northbound to close on Monday, October 19 through Friday, October 30, from 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Crews will be replacing asphalt with concrete.

Detour: I-75 SB to Exit 90 (Fair Rd) to I-75 NB

VAN WERT COUNTY

U.S. 30 at U.S. 224, both eastbound and westbound, Van Wert, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone beginning Aug. 10 for a project that will reconstruct and lower the pavement beneath the U.S. 224 overhead to increase vertical clearance. The project also includes drainage work, and replacement of barrier wall and guardrail. The project is expected to be completed late October.

U.S. 30 westbound entrance ramp from U.S. 224 will close on September 16 for approximately 30 days.

Detour: U.S. 30 eastbound to U.S. 127 back to U.S. 30 westbound.

U.S. 30 traffic will be maintained in one lane in each direction.

Liberty Union Road from U.S. 30 to Terry Road will close Aug. 10 for approximately three months.

U.S. 30 both directions, between the Putnam County line and Middle Point Wetzel Road, will have lane restrictions on Tuesday, October 13 for pavement repairs.

Multi-route paving project will begin work Aug. 10. The project includes resurfacing of the existing pavement, pavement repairs, work on curb ramps, and widening of bridge approaches on U.S. 224. Lane restrictions will be in place with traffic being maintained by flaggers. Work is expected to be finished by early October.

U.S. 224 from the Indiana state line to the city of Van Wert.

U.S. 127 from the CSX Railroad line north of Main St. to the intersection of U.S. 127, U.S. 224, and Marsh Rd.

SR 118 in Van Wert the bridge over Town Creek to U.S. 127/Washington St.

SR 709 from SR 118 to Township Road 58.

State Route 709 between the villages of Ohio City and Venedocia will have lane restrictions for pavement repairs.
