Pill press discovered during warrant search

LIMA — As part of an ongoing investigation into fentanyl-pressed powder pills being sold in Allen County, the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force searched 900 E. Third St. on Thursday, the Allen County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday.

Police report finding four ounces of suspected fentanyl, approximately 100 fentanyl pills, one pill press, two handguns and narcotics paraphernalia.

No occupants were at the residence at the time of the search. Charges will be presented to the Allen County Grand Jury at a later date.

The task force was assisted by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office S.W.A.T. team.
