OTTAWA — The Putnam County Health Department will offer drive-up flu shot clinics this year to protect residents from unnecessary exposure.
Flu shot clinics are scheduled for the following dates, times and locations:
• 9-11:30 a.m. and 1-3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30 at Ottawa Senior Center, 1035 E. 3rd St., Ottawa.
• 7-10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3 at Putnam County Health Department, 256 Williamstown Road, Ottawa.
• 2-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15 at Putnam County Council on Aging, 1425 E. 4th St., Ottawa.
• 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22 at Kalida Volunteer Fire Department, 108 Broad St., Kalida.

The flu shots can be billed to your insurance provider. For uninsured clients, cash prices are $10 for ages 6 months-18 years, $35 for 19 and older and $70 for the high-dose vaccine for people older than 65.
Drive-thru Flu Clinics are coming soon! The PCHD will be offering drive-thru flu clinics at several locations, beginning on September 30th at the Ottawa Senior Center. Other clinics that scheduled at this time include: Saturday, October 3rd, 7:00-10:00 a.m. at the PCHD; October 15th at Putnam County Council on Aging, 2:00-7:00 p.m.; October 22nd at the Kalida Fire Station, 2:00-5:00 p.m.
High-dose flu vaccine is available for those 65 years of age and older. Insurance is accepted and payment is accepted ($10 for children under 18, $35 for 10-64 years of age, $70 for high-dose) if insurance does not cover the flu vaccine.
