LIMA — A Lima man has been arrested in connection with a fatal crash which took place Aug. 25 in Bath Township.

Bradley C. Pepple, 44, of Lima, was arrested Monday by state troopers and was incarcerated at the Allen County Jail. He is suspected of being the driver of the pickup truck which struck and killed 18-year-old Chance Edwards on North Dixie Highway in Lima. Edwards was not in the vehicle at the time she was struck.

Pepple has been charged with failing to stop after an accident, a felony of the third degree. He was scheduled to be arraigned in court Tuesday afternoon.

The Lima post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted by troopers from the Findlay District Office of Investigative Services, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and Army’s Towing.
