Putnam County Common Pleas Court

Aug. 27

Alexander N. Burris, 32, 2145 Summit St., Columbus, pleaded guilty to forgery. He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a presentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 8:15 a.m. Oct. 15.

Joshua A. Longbrake, 44, 103 West St., Columbus Grove, was sentenced to 12 months in prison for domestic violence. He was given credit for 88 days served and any additional days while awaiting transportation to prison.

Brooke E. Peck, 25, 7345 Road 7D, Leipsic, was given credit for nine days off her jail sentence for work performed at the Putnam County Adult Detention facility. She was sentenced to 90 days jail on a probation violation and is scheduled to be released Sept. 10.

Sept. 3

Cameron Q. Morris, 20, 2590 County Road 203, McComb, was sentenced to four to six years in prison for burglary. He was given credit for 133 days served and additional days while awaiting transportation to prison. He must pay restitution of $235 to the victims. The sentence was ordered to be served consecutive to a Wood County case.

Kevin M. Arnone, 35, 1035 Heritage Trail, Ottawa, was sentenced to 11 months in prison for possession of cocaine. He was given credit for 182 days served. He was also sentenced to 17 months in prison for grand theft. He was given credit for 109 days served. The sentence was ordered to be served concurrently, but consecutive to a probation violation.

Sept. 4

Dustin A. Patty, 25, A846 County Road 13, New Bavaria, pleaded guilty to grand theft of a motor vehicle. He faces up to 18 months in prison and $5,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a presentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 10:30 a.m. Oct. 8.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

Aug. 27

Marcus A. Gutierrez, 20, 62 Main St., West Leipsic, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of reckless operation. Sentence: $150 fine. He was also fined court costs for a probation violation. A charge of failure to comply was dismissed.

Aug. 31

Todd M. Donaldson, 43, 332 N. High St., Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of reckless operation. Sentence: $150 fine.

Reese L. Dunn, 32, 815 Eleventh St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to endangering children. Sentence: 180 days jail, suspended, $250 fine and complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center.

Alec C. Fortman, 22, 205 Shady Lane, Kalida, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 150 days suspended, $1,000 fine, $600 suspended, three-year license suspension, with credit for six days upon completion of DIP and complete a drug and alcohol assessment. Charges of probation violation, open container, speeding, and driving under OVI suspension was dismissed.

Emilleo Guerra, 24, 505 N. Walnut St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to domestic violence. Sentence: 180 days jail, 120 days suspended, $250 fine, and complete a mental health assessment. Sentence is to be served concurrent to his felony case in common pleas court.

Carter L. Fanger, 35, Box 291, Kalida, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of driving under suspension. Sentence: $100 fine.

Sept. 1

James J. Arthur, II, 36, 226 W. Third St., Ottawa, pleaded no contest to FRA suspension and was found guilty. Sentence: $150 fine.

Sept. 2

James A. Fields, 43, 93 W. Main St., Shelby, pleaded no contest to petty theft and was found guilty. Sentence: 180 days jail, $250 fine, suspended, pay restitution of $269.99 to Ottawa True Value Hardware.

Pamela S. Miller, 55, 931 Daggett Ave., Napoleon, pleaded no contest to improper lane usage and was found guilty. Sentence: $150 fine She was found not guilty to reckless operation.
