Man shot Wednesday night in Lima; shooter still at large

LIMA — Police are seeking information surrounding a shooting south of downtown Lima on Wednesday evening.

At approximately 8:45 p.m. officers from the Lima Police Department responded to the area of Main and Eureka streets in reference to shots fired. Initially officers were unable to locate a victim or evidence of a shooting.

Two hours later, police received information of a shooting victim that was brought to a local hospital. Officers responded to the hospital to speak with the victim. Rashad Roberson, 25, of Lima, was found to have sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his leg. No arrests have been made.
