LIMA — More details are being released on a triple shooting in Perry Township early Saturday.
The Allen County Sheriff’s Office reported that at 1:26 a.m. Saturday it received a 911 call regarding multiple shots fired near 13th Street and South Main Street.
A deputy, heading to the scene, stopped the driver of a vehicle leaving the area at a high rate of speed. That driver told the deputy he had just dropped off Marcus Brown at a home at 1411 S. Central Ave., and that he had been shot.
Deputies were then informed by a dispatcher that two shooting victims were being treated at Lima Memorial Health System. They were identified as Paul Curtis Jr. and LaRon Johnson, both of Lima. Curtis was shot in the right arm and left ankle, while Johnson suffered a gunshot wound to his forehead, just above his right eye.
Officers tried to locate Brown at the South Central Avenue location, but he was not there. Instead, he was at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, where he was being treated for a gunshot wound to the shoulder area.
None of the victims’ wounds were life-threatening.
Brown, Curtis and Johnson are not cooperating with detectives as to what led to the shooting or who shot them, according to the sheriff’s office.
Anyone with information is asked to call detective Callie Basinger at 419-227-3535.
