ALLEN COUNTY

Interstate 75 between Napoleon Road and state Route 235, just south of the village of Beaverdam to three miles north of the village of Bluffton, in Allen and Hancock counties, will experience lane restrictions and ramp closures for paving and reconstruction through November 2020. SR 696 exit ramp from I-75 northbound will close August 17 for five days for a culvert replacement.

Detour:­­­­­­­­­­­ I-75 northbound to SR 103/Bentley Rd. to I-75 southbound back to SR 696.

Beginning Aug. 7, northbound passing lane at SR 696, Beaverdam, will be shifted to the southbound side.

Nighttime lane restrictions, 7 p.m. – 7 a.m., resumed on July 19 and will continue for approximately two months for paving operations.

Interstate 75, both directions, in the city of Lima between 4th Street and State Route 81, will have lane restrictions from 4 a.m. to noon, Monday – Friday, beginning August 10 and continuing for approximately three weeks for pavement repairs.

State Route 65/Elm Street and Pine Street at their intersection in the city of Lima closed June 1 for replacement of the bridges over the Ottawa River. Completion is expected in late fall. Elm Street and Pine Street intersection is open following a closure for beam removal and beam setting. Temporary restrictions may occur as needed.

Elm Street and Pine Street are closed at the bridges at the intersection.

Eastbound detour: Central Avenue to Market Street to Bellefontaine Avenue (SR 309/SR 117).

Westbound detour: Bellefontaine Avenue (SR 309/ SR 117) to Market Street to S. Union Street.

State Route 117 (Shawnee Road) between Garden Boulevard and Cable Road, in the city of Lima, a bridge maintenance and repair project is delayed. Reopening is expected on approximately August 18. Complete General Construction Co., Columbus, will be the general contractor.

Detour: Eastown Road to Elm Street to Woodlawn Avenue (SR 117).

HANCOCK COUNTY

I-75 Widening and Reconstruction in the city of Findlay: The project to reconstruct and widen I-75 through the city of Findlay beginning just south of Harrison Street/County Road 144, which is just south of the U.S. Route 68/State Route 15 interchange, to the County Road 99 interchange, is in its fourth and final year. Estimated completion: Fall 2020

Weather permitting, beginning Sunday night, August 16:

The traffic will be shifted into its final pattern. The northbound traffic will travel on the new northbound alignment. The southbound traffic will remain in its current location as paving work continues along the southbound alignment. Two lanes will be maintained in both directions the majority of the time.

In addition, all ramps are expected to reopen. Temporary ramp closures are expected to occur for finishing work.

Construction on the following ramps will continue until late fall.

S. 68/State Route 15 to I-75 southbound

Lima Avenue to I-75 southbound

Detour: I-75 to the SR 12 interchange back to I-75 southbound.

State Route 15 under U.S. 68, south of the city of Findlay, will have lane restrictions beginning July 22 for approximately 30 days for finish work on the bridge deck replacement project. Visit the project page for more information.

U.S. 68 within the village of Arlington from the bridge over Buck Run to just north of Wardwell Street, and between Liberty Street and the southern corporation limit, closed May 4 and May 18, respectively, for approximately four months for a reconstruction project. State Route 103 at U.S. 68 is open. Detour signage will remain in place to accommodate a future closure for the final paving.

SR 103 detour: SR 37 to SR 15 to I-75 to SR 12 to I-75 to SR 235 to SR 103.

U.S. 68 northbound detour: U.S. 30 to SR 235 to I-75 back to U.S. 68.

U.S. 68 southbound detour: SR 15 to U.S. 23 to U.S. 30 back to U.S. 68.

U.S. 224 between the village of Ottawa and State Route 235, Hancock County, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for a resurfacing project. Pavement repairs are expected to begin Aug. 10 and paving is expected to begin Aug. 17. The project will complete in late September.

State Route 37 over Lynn Creek, between Township Road 149 and Township Road 147, is expected to open August 13 following a closure for a culvert replacement.

State Route 568 closure between County Road 7 and Township Road 245, two miles east of Findlay, has been delayed and will now close Aug. 10 for approximately 120 days for a bridge replacement project.

Detour: SR 37 to SR 15 to SR 330 back to SR 568.

Todd Street in the village of McComb will be restricted beginning Aug. 3 during construction of a Safe Routes to School project which involves construction of a sidewalk, installation of signage, and installation of school signals. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers. Survey work for the project is under way with little impact to traffic expected. Work is expected to be completed within approximately four weeks.

AUGLAIZE COUNTY

Interstate 75 Bridge Repair - I-75 will experience nightly single lane closures, in each direction, between U.S. 33 and Bellefontaine Street on Monday, August 3 through Friday, August 21 from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

U.S. 33 Resurfacing – U.S. 33 will experience nightly single-lane closures, in each direction, between County Road 25A and Cemetery Road on Monday, July 13 through Friday, August 21 from 8:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Traffic will be maintained in the work zone.

HARDIN COUNTY

State Route 68/Detroit Street within the city of Kenton, from Harris Street to state Route 67/Epsy Street, is complete. Finish work will continue through the work zone with minimal impact to traffic.

U.S. 68 (Detroit Street) between Franklin Street and Espy Street, within the city of Kenton will be closed through August 31 for water line installation. Traffic may be temporally restricted on Fontaine Street (U.S. 68) and Espy Street (S.R. 67).

Detour: U.S. 68 southbound, left onto Carroll St., right onto SR 31 (Main Street), right onto Letson Ave., back to U.S. 68.

Detour: U.S. 68 northbound, right onto Letson Ave., left onto SR 31 (Main Street), left onto Carrol St., back to U.S. 68.

State Route 31 between the city of Kenton and the Logan County line will have lane restrictions for the installation of centerline rumble strips. Beginning Saturday, Aug. 8, work to remove pavement reflectors will begin, with the installation of the rumble strips to follow. Pavement repairs and striping are expected to occur this week.

State Route 67 resurfacing between the city of Kenton and State Route 235, near the village of Roundhead, is complete. Finish work will continue through the work zone with minimal impact to traffic.

State Route 292 between County Road 190 and County Road 200 is open following a culvert replacement.

Lincoln Street/township Road 44 within the village of Ada, between Klingler Road and Union Street, closed for approximately 160 days on Apr. 20 for roadway reconstruction including storm sewer, water main, curb and gutter, and sidewalk.

Southern Detour: Main Street/SR 235 to Lima Avenue/TR 50 to Klinger Road/County Road 35.

Northern Detour: Main Street/SR 235 to W. North Avenue/SR 81 to Klinger Road/County Road 35.

Access to Ada Medical and Diagnostic Center will be maintained at all times.

PUTNAM COUNTY

U.S. 224 between the village of Ottawa and State Route 235, Hancock County, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for a resurfacing project. Pavement repairs are expected to begin Aug. 10 and paving is expected to begin Aug. 17. The project will complete in late September.

U.S. 224 within the village of Ottawa will have lane restrictions for the installation of sidewalk ramps in accordance with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA). The project is expected to be completed within three weeks.

State Route 65 from the village of Ottawa to the village of Columbus Grove will have lane restrictions for the installation of centerline rumble strips. On Monday, Aug. 10 crews will begin pavement repairs and striping.

State Route 108 within the village of Miller City will close August 3 for approximately two weeks for slope repair. Reopening is expected on August 19.

Detour: SR 613 to SR 109 to SR 18 back to SR 108.

State Route 108 between SR 613 and Township Road G, approximately one mile south of the village of Miller City, will close on Aug. 3 for approximately 75 days for bridge deck and slope repair over the Miller City cutoff.

Detour: SR 613 to SR 109 to SR 18 back to SR 108.

State Route 189 at County Road 21, approximately one mile east of the village of Fort Jennings, will close Aug­­­­­. 10 for approximately 19 days for culvert replacements. The work will be performed by the ODOT Putnam County maintenance garage.

Detour: SR 634 to U.S. 224 to SR 115 back to SR 189.

SHELBY COUNTY

Interstate 75 Bridge Repairs – Expect nightly lane restrictions in Franklin Township on I-75 at Meranda Road, in each direction, on Sunday, July 26, through Sunday, August 23, from 8:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. The contractor will be painting the Meranda Road Bridge over I-75. The vertical clearance has been reduced to 16’-0”. Traffic will be maintained.

Interstate 75 Resurfacing – Expect nightly lane restrictions on I-75 between SR 274 and U.S. 33, in each direction, on Sunday, June 28 through Tuesday, September 15, from 8:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Traffic will be maintained on I-75.

State Route 29 Resurfacing – Expect daily lane closures on SR 29 between I-75 and SR 119 Tuesday, July 28 to Monday, August 31 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.

State Route 274 Resurfacing – Expect daily lane closures on SR 29 between Progress Drive and Island Avenue Tuesday, July 28 to Monday, August 31 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.

State Route 47 Repairs - Expect lane restrictions in Sidney on SR 47 between Fourth Avenue and Walnut Avenue, in each direction, on Monday, March 2 through Friday, September 18, from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. The City of Sidney Crews will be installing a median barrier, guardrail, street lighting, and a sidewalk.

State Route 119 Resurfacing – Expect lane restrictions on SR 119 between I-75 and SR 65, in each direction, on Monday, August 24 through Friday, October 30, from 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. One 10’ lane will be maintained in the work zone.

VAN WERT COUNTY

U.S. 30 at U.S. 224, both eastbound and westbound, Van Wert, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone beginning Aug. 10 for a project that will reconstruct and lower the pavement beneath the U.S. 224 overhead to increase vertical clearance. The project also includes drainage work, and replacement of barrier wall and guardrail. The project is expected to be completed late October.

The ramp from U.S. 224 northbound to U.S. 30 westbound will close in late September for approximately 30 days.

U.S. 224 is not expected to be affected.

U.S. 30 traffic will be maintained in one lane in each direction.

Liberty Union Road from U.S. 30 to Terry Road will close Aug. 10 for approximately three months.

U.S. 30 at U.S. 127 in the city of Van Wert will have guard rail repair, ramp closures and lane restrictions for pavement repairs.

U.S. 30 eastbound entrance ramp from U.S. 127 will close on Tuesday, August 18.

Detour:S. 127 to Fox Road to SR 118 to Ervin Road/Van Wert Decatur Road to U.S. 224 back to U.S. 30.

U.S. 30 east bond exit ramp to U.S. 127 will close on Tuesday, August 18.

Detour: U.S. 30 to Lincoln Highway to U.S. 30 back to U.S. 127.

U.S. 30 westbound entrance ramp from U.S. 127 will close on Wednesday, August 19.

Detour: S. 127 to U.S. 30 eastbound to Lincoln Highway to U.S. 30 westbound.

U.S. westbound exit ramp to U.S. 127 will close on Wednesday, August 19.

Detour:S. 30 to U.S. 224 to Van Wert-Decatur Road to SR 118 to Fox Road to U.S. 127.

U.S. 30 between Middle Point-Wetzel Road and the Putnam County line will have lane restrictions for guardrail and pavement repairs.

U.S. 224 between Dog Creek Road and Middle Point-Wetzel Road will have lane restrictions for pavement repairs.

U.S. 224 and Bergner Road, at the intersection, approximately three miles west of the city of Van Wert, will close at August 12 for approximately three days to remove an abandoned culvert. Reopening expected on August 14.

Detour: SR 49 to U.S. 30 back to U.S. 224.

Jefferson Street between Main Street and Crawford Street, just south of Central Avenue in the city of Van Wert, closed May 11 for approximately 90 days for a bridge replacement. Reopening anticipated on August 14.

Detour: Main Street to Jefferson Street to Central Street to Washington Street to Crawford Street.
