ALLEN COUNTY

Interstate 75 between Napoleon Road and state Route 235, just south of the village of Beaverdam to three miles north of the village of Bluffton, in Allen and Hancock counties, will experience lane restrictions and ramp closures for paving and reconstruction through November 2020. Beginning Aug. 4, both lanes of I-75 southbound at SR 696, Beaverdam, will be shifted onto new pavement.

Nighttime lane restrictions, 7 p.m. – 7 a.m., resumed on July 19 and will continue for approximately two months for paving operations.

SR 103 exit ramp from I-75 northbound is now open.

SR 696 entrance ramp to I-75 southbound is now open.

U.S. 30, both eastbound and westbound, between Fifth Street in Delphos to Slabtown Road near Lima will be restricted to one lane through the work zone at various locations for pavement repair.

State Route 65/Elm Street and Pine Street at their intersection in the city of Lima will close June 1 for replacement of the bridges over the Ottawa River. Completion is expected in late fall 2020. Visit the project page for more information.

Elm Street and Pine Street intersection, will close on July 6 for approximately 24 days for beam removal and beam setting.

Elm Street and Pine Street is closed at the bridges at the intersection.

Eastbound detour: Central Avenue to Market Street to Bellefontaine Avenue (SR 309/SR 117).

Westbound detour: Bellefontaine Avenue (SR 309/ SR 117) to Market Street to S. Union Street.

State Route 81 over the Ottawa River is open following a bridge deck replacement. Work at the bridge will be complete before the beginning of the week.

State Route 117 (Shawnee Road) between Garden Boulevard and Cable Road, in the city of Lima, closed June 22 for approximately 45 days for bridge maintenance and repair.

Detour: Eastown Road to Elm Street to Woodlawn Avenue (SR 117) (see map).

AUGLAIZE COUNTY

Interstate 75 Nightly Bridge Repair – I-75 will experience nightly single lane closures in each direction between US 33 and Bellefontaine Street Monday, August 3 to Friday, August 14 from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Interstate 75 Lane Closure – I-75 southbound will experience a lane closure between Hengstler Road and Middle Pike on Wednesday, August 5 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

State Route 219 Culvert Replacement – SR 219 will close between Santa Fe-New Knoxville and Southland Road on Monday, August 3 at 8:30 a.m. through Friday, August 7 at 3:00 p.m.

Detour: I-75 take SR 274 WB to SR 29 NW to SR 219 in New Knoxville

Detour: SR 219 EB take SR 29 SE to SR 274 EB to I-75.

State Route 219 Bridge Repairs – SR 219 will experience lane restrictions between East Street and Newcomer Lane, in each direction, on Monday, June 8 through Friday, August 7 from 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for bridgework.

US 33 Resurfacing – US 33 will experience nightly single-lane closures, in each direction, between County Road 25A and Cemetery Road on Monday, July 13 through Friday, August 14 from 8:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Traffic will be maintained in the work zone.

HANCOCK COUNTY

I-75 Widening and Reconstruction in the city of Findlay: The project to reconstruct and widen I-75 through the city of Findlay beginning just south of Harrison Street/County Road 144, which is just south of the U.S. Route 68/state Route 15 interchange, to the County Road 99 interchange, is in its fourth and final year. Construction on the following ramps will continue until late fall.

I-75 northbound to U.S. 68/state Route 15

I-75 northbound to Lima Avenue

S. 68/state Route 15 to I-75 southbound

Lima Avenue to I-75 southbound

Detour: I-75 to the state Route 12 back on I-75 southbound.

Between the south end of the project to the U.S. 68/state Route 15 interchange, all four lanes will continue to travel the southbound side until late summer. Two lanes will be maintained in both directions the majority of the time.

Interstate 75 southbound near the Bigelow Road overhead, Findlay, will be reduced to one lane through the work zone for a noise wall extension project. Work will occur generally between the hours of 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and is expected to begin within two weeks. The project will complete this fall.

State Route 15 under U.S. 68, south of the city of Findlay, will have lane restrictions beginning July 22 for approximately 30 days for finish work on a bridge deck replacement project. Visit the project page for more information.

U.S. 68 within the village of Arlington from the bridge over Buck Run to just north of Wardwell Street, and between Liberty Street and the southern corporation limit, closed May 4 and May 18, respectively, for approximately four months for a reconstruction project. SR 103 at U.S. 68 closed Monday, July 27 for 14 days.

SR 103 detour: SR 37 to SR 15 to I-75 to SR 12 to I-75 to SR 235 to SR 103 (see map).

U.S. 68 northbound detour: U.S. 30 to SR 235 to I-75 back to U.S. 68.

U.S. 68 southbound detour: SR 15 to U.S. 23 to U.S. 30 back to U.S. 68 (see maps).

State Route 12 between Township Road 248 and Township Road 214, one mile southwest of the village of Arcadia, closed July 30 for approximately 30 days for a culvert replacement.

Detour: U.S. 224 to U.S. 23 back to SR 12 (see map).

State Route 37 over Lynn Creek, between Township Road 149 and Township Road 147, just south of Riverdale Local Schools, closed July 13 for approximately 30 days for a culvert replacement.

Detour: SR 103 to U.S. 23 to U.S. 30 back to SR 37 (see map).

State Route 568 closure between County Road 7 and Township Road 245, two miles east of Findlay, has been delayed and will now close Aug. 10 for approximately 120 days for a bridge replacement project.

Detour: SR 37 to SR 15 to SR 330 back to SR 568 (see map).

Todd Street in the village of McComb will be restricted beginning Aug. 3 during construction of a Safe Routes to School project which involves construction of a sidewalk, installation of signage, and installation of school signals. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers. Survey work for the project is under way with little impact to traffic expected. Work is expected to be completed within approximately four weeks.

HARDIN COUNTY

U.S. 68 resurfacing between Findlay and Kenton, excluding the villages of Arlington and Dunkirk, is complete. Finish work will continue through the work zone with minimal impact to traffic. The project is expected to be completed within a month. Visit the project page for more information.

State Route 68/Detroit Street within the city of Kenton, from Harris Street to state Route 67/Epsy Street, is complete. Finish work will continue through the work zone with minimal impact to traffic.

U.S. 68 (Detroit Street) between Ohio Street and the railroad crossing, within the city of Kenton, will be restricted through approximately July 31 for water and sewer line work.

Detour: U.S. 68 southbound, left onto Carroll Street, right onto SR 31 (Main Street), right onto Letson Avenue, back to U.S. 68.

Detour: U.S. 68 northbound, right onto Letson Avenue, left onto SR 31 (Main Street), left onto Carrol Street, back to U.S. 68.

State Route 31 between the city of Kenton and the Logan County line will have lane restrictions for the installation of centerline rumble strips. Beginning Saturday, Aug. 8, work to remove pavement reflectors will begin, with the installation of the rumble strips to follow. Once under way, work is expected to be completed within two weeks.

State Route 67 resurfacing between the city of Kenton and State Route 235, near the village of Roundhead, is complete. Finish work will continue through the work zone with minimal impact to traffic.

State Route 292 between County Road 190 and County Road 200, about four miles south of the city of Kenton, will close Aug. 10 for approximately five days for a culvert replacement.

Detour: SR 273 to SR 31 back to SR 292 (see map).

State Route 117 between the Auglaize County line and the Logan County line will have lane restrictions for berming.

Lincoln Street/township Road 44 within the village of Ada, between Klingler Road and Union Street, closed for approximately 160 days on Apr. 20 for roadway reconstruction including storm sewer, water main, curb and gutter, and sidewalk. Beaverdam Contracting Inc., Beaverdam, serves as the general contractor. For more information, including a map of the location, visit the project page.

Southern Detour: Main Street/SR 235 to Lima Avenue/Township Road 50 to Klinger Road/County Road 35.

Northern Detour: Main Street/SR 235 to W. North Avenue/SR 81 to Klinger Road/County Road 35.

Access to Ada Medical and Diagnostic Center will be maintained at all times.

PUTNAM COUNTY

U.S. 224 between the village of Ottawa and State Route 235, Hancock County, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for a resurfacing project. Work is expected to begin Aug. 10 and will complete in late September.

U.S. 224 within the village of Ottawa will have lane restrictions for the installation of sidewalk ramps in accordance with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA). The project is expected to be completed within three weeks.

State Route 65 from the village of Ottawa to the village of Columbus Grove will have lane restrictions for the installation of centerline rumble strips. Work will begin in approximately two weeks with removal of pavement reflectors, followed by the installation of the rumble strips. Once under way, work is expected to be completed within two weeks.

State Route 108 within the village of Miller City will close Aug. 3 for approximately two weeks for slope repair.

Detour: SR 613 to SR 109 to SR 18 back to SR 108 (See map).

State Route 108 between SR 613 and Township Road G, approximately one mile south of the village of Miller City, will close on Aug. 3 for approximately 75 days for bridge deck and slope repair over the Miller City cutoff.

Detour: SR 613 to SR 109 to SR 18 back to SR 108 (See map).

State Route 189 at Township Highway 21, approximately one mile east of the village of Fort Jennings, will close Aug­­­­­. 10 for approximately 19 days for culvert replacements.

Detour: SR 634 to U.S. 224 to SR 115 back to SR 189 (See map).

State Route 634 between County Highway N and Township Road N-22 is now open following a culvert replacement.

SHELBY COUNTY

Interstate 75 Resurfacing – expect nightly lane restrictions on I-75 between SR 274 and U.S. 33, in each direction, on Sunday, June 28 through Friday, August 14, from 8:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Traffic will be maintained on I-75.

Interstate 75 Bridge Repairs – I-75 will experience nightly lane restrictions between State Route 47 and County Road 25A, in each direction, on Monday, June 22 through Friday, August 14. Traffic will be maintained throughout the work zone.

Interstate Bridge Repairs – Expect nightly lane restrictions in Franklin Township on I-75 at Meranda Road, in each direction, on Sunday, July 26, through Sunday, August 16, from 8:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. The contractor will be painting the Meranda Road Bridge over I-75. Traffic will be maintained.

State Route 29 Resurfacing – Expect daily lane closures on SR 29 between I-75 and SR 119 Tuesday, July 28 to Monday, August 31 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.

State Route 274 Resurfacing – Expect daily lane closures on SR 29 between Progress Drive and Island Avenue Tuesday, July 28 to Monday, August 31 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.

VAN WERT COUNTY

U.S. 30 over U.S. 127, both eastbound and westbound, Van Wert, will be one lane through the work zone for pavement repair.

U.S. 30 at U.S. 224, both eastbound and westbound, Van Wert, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone beginning Aug. 17 for a project that will reconstruct and lower the pavement beneath the U.S. 224 overhead to increase vertical clearance. The project also includes drainage work, and replacement of barrier wall and guardrail. The project is expected to be completed late October.

U. S. 30 traffic will be maintained in one lane in each direction.

Liberty Union Road from U.S. 30 to Terry Road will close Aug. 17 for approximately three months.

The ramp from U.S. 224 northbound to U.S. 30 westbound will close in late September for approximately 30 days.

U.S. 224 is not expected to be affected.

State Route 81 between State Route 116 and Township Road 199, near Spencerville, closed on July 1 for 30 days for a culvert replacement. The route is expected to reopen some time during the week.

Detour: SR 116 to SR 117 to SR 66 back to SR 81 (see map).

Jefferson Street between Main Street and Crawford Street, just south of Central Avenue in the city of Van Wert, closed May 11 for approximately 90 days for a bridge replacement.

Detour: Main Street to Jefferson Street to Central Street to Washington Street to Crawford Street.
