ALLEN COUNTY

Interstate 75 between Napoleon Road and state Route 235, just south of the village of Beaverdam to three miles north of the village of Bluffton, in Allen and Hancock counties, will experience lane restrictions and ramp closures for paving and reconstruction through November 2020. Nighttime lane restrictions, 7 p.m. – 7 a.m., resumed on July 19 and will continue for approximately three months for paving operations.

At SR 696 near Beaverdam, one lane of I-75 southbound traffic is shifted onto the northbound side of the highway.

SR 103 exit ramp from I-75 northbound will close July 20 for five days. Expected to reopen July 24.

Detour: I-75 north to SR 235 to I-75 south back to SR 103.

SR 696 entrance ramp to I-75 southbound will close July 12 for 14 days. Expected to reopen July 27.

Detour: I-75 north to SR103/Bentley Rd. to I-75 south.

State Route 65/Elm Street and Pine Street at their intersection in the city of Lima will close June 1 for replacement of the bridges over the Ottawa River. Completion is expected in late fall 2020. The work will be performed by Miller Brothers Construction, Archbold. Visit the project page for more information.

Elm Street and Pine Street intersection, will close on July 6 for approximately 24 days for beam removal and beam setting.

Elm Street and Pine Street is closed at the bridges at the intersection.

Eastbound detour: Central Ave. to Market St. to Bellefontaine Ave (SR 309/SR 117).

Westbound detour: Bellefontaine Ave (SR 309/ SR 117) to Market St. to S. Union St.

State Route 81 over the Ottawa River, approximately three miles east of Lima, is open following a bridge deck replacement. Work at the bridge will continue through July. No significant traffic impacts are expected.

State Route 117 (Shawnee Road) between Garden Boulevard and Cable Road, in the city of Lima, will be close June 22 for approximately 45 days for bridge maintenance and repair. Complete General Construction Co., Columbus, will be the general contractor.

Detour: Eastown Road to Elm Street to Woodlawn Avenue (SR 117).

State Route 309 near Robb Avenue in the city of Lima will have lane restrictions for curb and gutter repairs. The work will be performed by the ODOT Allen County maintenance garage.

AUGLAIZE COUNTY

Interstate 75 Drainage & Pavement Repairs - I-75 northbound will be reduced to one lane between SR 219 and U.S. 33 on Friday, July 24 through Sunday, July 26, from 9:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. The lane closure will be continuous from Friday night to Sunday morning. Traffic will be maintained in the work zone.

State Route 219 Bridge Repairs – SR 219 will experience lane restrictions between East Street and Newcomer Lane, in each direction, on Monday, June 8 through Friday, July 31 from 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for bridgework.

State Route 219 Culvert Replacement – SR 219 will close between Santa Fe-New Knoxville and Southland Road for nearly 14 days. The first closure is on Monday, July 27 at 8:30 a.m. through Friday, July 31 at 3:00 p.m. The second closure is scheduled for Monday, August 3 at 8:30 a.m. through Friday, August 7 at 3:00 p.m.

Detour: I-75 take SR 274 WB to SR 29 NW to SR 219 in New Knoxville

Detour: SR 219 EB take SR 29 SE to SR 274 EB to I-75.

HANCOCK COUNTY

I-75 Widening and Reconstruction in the city of Findlay: The project to reconstruct and widen I-75 through the city of Findlay beginning just south of Harrison Street/County Road 144, which is just south of the U.S. Route 68/state Route 15 interchange, to the County Road 99 interchange, is entering its fourth and final year. Construction on the following ramps will continue until late fall.

Detour: I-75 to the state Route 12 back on I-75 southbound.

Between the south end of the project to the U.S. 68/state Route 15 interchange, all four lanes will continue to travel the southbound side until late summer. Two lanes will be maintained in both directions the majority of the time.

U.S. 68 at state Route 15south of the city of Findlay, and the median crossovers on SR 15 at County Road 180 and County Road 8 are open following closures for a bridge deck replacement. U.S. 68 within the village of Arlington

U.S. 68 from the bridge over Buck Run to just north of Wardwell Street, within the village of Arlington, will close May 4 for approximately four months for a reconstruction project.

U.S. 68 between Liberty Street and the southern corporation limit, within the village of Arlington, will close May 18 for approximately four months for a reconstruction project.

State Route 103 will close at U.S. 68 on Tuesday, July 27 for 14 days.

SR 103 detour: SR 37 to SR 15 to I-75 to SR 12 to I-75 to SR 235 to SR 103.

S. 68 northbound detour: U.S. 30 to SR 235 to I-75 back to U.S. 68.

S. 68 southbound detour: SR 15 to U.S. 23 to U.S. 30 back to U.S. 68.

State Route 12 between Township Road 248 and TR 214, one mile southwest of the village of Arcadia, will close July 30 for approximately 30 days for a culvert replacement. Vernon Nagel, Inc., Napoleon, serves as the general contractor.

Detour:S. 224 to U.S. 23 back to SR 12.

State Route 37 over Lynn Creek, between Township Road 149 and Township 147, just south of Riverdale High School will close July 13 for approximately 30 days for a culvert replacement. Miller Contracting Group, Inc., Ottoville, is the general contractor.

Detour: SR 103 to U.S. 23 to U.S. 30 back to SR 37.

State Route 568 between County Road 7 and Township Road 245, two miles east of Findlay, will close July 27 for approximately 120 days for a bridge replacement project. R & I Construction, Inc., Tiffin, is the general contractor.

Detour: SR 37 to SR 15 to SR 330 back to SR 568.

HARDIN COUNTY

U.S. 68 resurfacing between Findlay and Kenton, excluding the villages of Arlington and Dunkirk, is complete. Finish work will continue through the work zone with minimal impact to traffic. State Route 68/Detroit Street within the city of Kenton, from Harris Street to state Route 67/Epsy Street, is complete. Finish work will continue through the work zone with minimal impact to traffic. Shelly Company, Findlay serves as the general contractor.

U.S. 68 (Detroit Street) between Ohio Street and the railroad crossing, within the city of Kenton will be restricted through approximately July 31 for water and sewer line work.

Detour:S. 68 southbound, left onto Carroll St., right onto SR 31 (Main Street), right onto Letson Ave., back to U.S. 68.

Detour:S. 68 northbound, right onto Letson Ave., left onto SR 31 (Main Street), left onto Carrol St., back to U.S. 68.

State Route 31 between the city of Kenton and the Logan County line will have lane restrictions for the installation of centerline rumble strips. The work will be performed by Shelly Company, Findlay.

State Route 67 resurfacing between the city of Kenton and State Route 235, near the village of Roundhead is complete. Finish work will continue through the work zone with minimal impact to traffic. Shelly Company, Findlay serves as the general contractor.

State Route 117 between the Auglaize County line and the Logan County line will have lane restrictions for berming. The work will be performed by the ODOT Hardin County maintenance garage.

State Route 292 between County Road 190 and County Road 200, about four miles south of the city of Kenton, will close August 10 for approximately five days for a culvert replacement. The work will be performed by the ODOT Hardin County maintenance garage.

Detour: SR 273 to SR 31 back to SR 292.

State Route 292between State Route 31 and the village of Ridgeway will have lane restrictions for berming operations. The work will be performed by the ODOT Hardin County maintenance garage.

Lincoln Street/township Road 44 between Klingler Road and Union Street, will close for approximately 160 days on Apr. 20 for roadway reconstruction including storm sewer, water main, curb and gutter, and sidewalk. Beaverdam Contracting Inc., Beaverdam, serves as the general contractor.

Southern Detour: Main Street/SR 235 to Lima Avenue/TR 50 to Klinger Road/CR 35.

Northern Detour: Main Street/SR 235 to W. North Avenue/SR 81 to Klinger Road/CR 35.

Access to Ada Medical and Diagnostic Center will be maintained at all times.

PUTNAM COUNTY

U.S. 224within the village of Ottawa will have lane restrictions for the installation of sidewalk ramps in accordance with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA). The work will be performed by Shelly Company, Findlay.

State Route 65 between the village of Ottawa and the village of Columbus Grove will have lane restrictions for the installation of centerline rumble strips. The work will be performed by Shelly Company, Findlay.

State Route 108 between the within the village of Miller City will close August 3 for approximately 2 weeks for slope repair. Guardian Retention Systems, Brooks, KY, is the general contractor.

Detour: SR 613 to SR 109 to SR 18 back to SR 108.

State Route 108 between SR 613 and Township Road G, approximately one mile south of the village of Miller City will close on August 3 for approximately 75 days for bridge deck and slope repair over the Miller City Cutoff. Great Lakes Construction, Hinckley, is the general contractor.

Detour: SR 613 to SR 109 to SR 18 back to SR 108.

State Route 189 at Township Highway 21, approximately one mile east of the village of Fort Jennings, will close August ­­­­­10 for approximately 19 days for culvert replacements. The work will be performed by the ODOT Putnam County maintenance garage.

Detour: SR 634 to U.S. 224 to SR 115 back to SR 189.

State Route 634 between County Highway N and Township Road N-22, near the area of Muntanna, will close July 20 for five days for a culvert replacement. The work will be performed by the ODOT Putnam County maintenance garage.

Highway is expected to reopen on Friday, July 24.

Detour: U.S. 224 to SR 66 to SR 114 back to SR 634.

SHELBY COUNTY

Interstate 75 Resurfacing – expect nightly lane restrictions on I-75 between SR 274 and U.S. 33, in each direction, on Sunday, June 28 through Friday, August 14, from 8:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Traffic will be maintained.

Interstate 75 Bridge Repairs – I-75 will experience nightly lane restrictions between State Route 47 and County Road 25A, in each direction, on Monday, June 22 through Friday, August 14. Traffic will be maintained.

Interstate Bridge Repairs – Expect nightly lane restrictions in Franklin Township on I-75 at Meranda Road, in each direction, on Sunday, July 26, through Sunday, August 16, from 8:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. The contractor will be painting the Meranda Road Bridge over I-75. Traffic will be maintained.

VAN WERT COUNTY

U.S. 30 in both directions at U.S. 127 will have lane restrictions for pavement repairs. The work will be performed by the ODOT Van Wert County maintenance garage.

State Route 81 between State Route 116 and Township Road 199, near Spencerville, closed on July 1 for 30 days for a culvert replacement. The work will be performed by Vernon, Nagel, Inc., Napoleon.

Detour: SR 116 to SR 117 to SR 66 back to SR 81.

Jefferson Street between Main Street and Crawford Street, just south of Central Avenue in the city of Van Wert will close on May 11 for approximately 90 days for a bridge replacement. The work will be performed by Eagle Bridge Co., Sidney.

Detour: Main St. to Jefferson St. to Central Street to Washington Street to Crawford Street.
