LIMA — An unidentified juvenile faces charges as a juvenile after leading an Allen County Sheriff’s deputy on a high-speed chase on Elida Road early Saturday morning.
According to a news release from the sheriff’s department, a deputy tried to stop a vehicle traveling at more than 80 mph while eastbound on Elida road around 1 a.m. Saturday.
The driver originally stopped on Kiracofe Avenue but took off at speeds of more than 90 mph.
The driven then committed numerous traffic violations, including running red lights and blowing through stop signs.
The pursuit ended at 624 S. McDonel St. where the driver was taken into custody.
