Bluffton man seriously injured in motorcycle crash

FINDLAY — A Bluffton man was transported via LifeFlight helicopter to an area hospital following a motorcycle-car crash Wednesday evening in Findlay.

According to the report from the Findlay Police Department, at approximately 5:42 p.m. Wednesday Daniel Sheldon, 39, of Bluffton, was driving his 2017 Harley Davidson Glide northbound on Western Avenue at a high rate of speed and was reported to have been driving recklessly.

Near the intersection of Washington Street, he struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Nicole Davis, 47, of Bluffton, that had just turned northbound onto Western Avenue. Sheldon was ejected from the motorcycle and suffered serious injuries.

A passenger in the Davis vehicle, Carson Mullin, of Findlay, was transported by private vehicle with undisclosed injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
